Holiday Thoughts

Well, another holiday season is upon us, and our office has been very busy!  This time of year can be stressful for people and families, especially those affected by domestic violence.  But this time of year can also inspire the good and the caring nature in people.  Every year, we set up a holiday gift giving tree for families in Crook County affected by violence.  And every year, our community shows up in droves to help those in need....

Happy summer to you all! We have posted our short and sweet newsletter for June :)

The main issue addressed in this month's editiion is a bystander's guide to parties.  We have all been in a situation when we see something happening at a party and feel like we should intervene but don't know how.  There are 7 safe steps to ensuring that you and your friends have fun and stay safe at parties this summer. Hello all!! January was a whirlwind here at CCFV (in a good way :)) and we can only hope February has as many good things to bring! Our newsletter this month focuses on Teen Dating Violence Awareness, an especially important (albeit difficult) topic to discuss with young adults.  It's never too early to discuss healthy relationship habits with your teen.
