Holiday Thoughts

Posted by crookcountyfamilyviolence on December 17, 2014 at 12:00 AM

Well, another holiday season is upon us, and our office has been very busy!  This time of year can be stressful for people and families, especially those affected by domestic violence.  But this time of year can also inspire the good and the caring nature in people.  Every year, we set up a holiday gift giving tree for families in Crook County affected by violence.  And every year, our community shows up in droves to help those in need.  So be thoughtful this holiday season, small charities require little cost, in fact, the most beautiful thing about being thoughtful is that very othen the person offering the kindness receives the greater rewards.

With that in mind, we challenge you to reach out this season to those whose thoughts cannot extend beyond their own surroundings, to people we rarely give thought to, and spare litle for the boundaries of your own selflessness.

We wish you all a happy and safe holiday season!
